2025 BRANDING PROJECT
maple leaf
Maple Leaf is a Seattle based landscaping a tree removal service that approached me for a rebrand. The primary focus of this rebrand was to provide the company a new visual identity, website, and print collateral to transition them into their new name.
ROLE - Designer

PROCESS
I began by developing a few directions for the visual identity for Maple Leaf. With a name as literal as this, we decided focusing on maple leaves as the primary design element. Sketching is the simplest way to begin and allows for the fastest generation of ideas.
The three initial concepts proposed distinct directions that expressed different brand personalities.
All three concepts targeted different pieces of what Maple Leaf is all about. Professional service, personalized solutions, and Pacific North West local.
REFINED DIRECTION
The selected concept was then refined into a final mark and color palette, as well as supporting graphics such as patterns and taglines.
BRAND GUIDELINES
After getting signoff on the design of the logo and supporting branded elements the visual language was built out into a system that could be applied to physical and digital media, merchandise, and any other forms of brand collateral.
